General Summary

As an Associate Brand Manager for our Shelf Stable Soup team, you will be a key participant in the process to develop and launch new products; assist in the development and execution of annual marketing plans; independently manage volume forecasting and budgets; lead label and corrugate changes, and interface as part of a multifunctional team (product development, logistics, finance, sales, gov\'t regs, etc). In addition, you will be responsible for growing and managing the single-serve soup business.

Key Accountabilities:




1. The role must have a keen view of the external environment including, general trends impacting the business, competitive assessment, an understanding of both consumers and customers as well as a complete understanding of the brand and products performance.




2. Analyze the internal information and syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen) to determine the category dynamics in terms of the:

a. Brand/product results and trends

b. Competitive landscape

c. Consumption Trends

d. Product innovation and sustainability

e. Channel trends




3. Formulate and implement Brand strategies and coordinate the implementation with the agencies (promotion, advertising and packaging), distributors, and sales team.

a. Help to prepare the 3 year strategic plan for the category

b. Assist in the preparation annual operating plan for the category

c. Manage the marketing budget assigned to the category in coordination with the sales managers

d. Plan and coordinate the execution of promotions with distributors

e. Evaluate the results of the marketing actions executed (e.g., promotions, media campaigns, etc.)

f. Participate with sales in the pricing strategy

g. Identify synergies within the countries specific to point of sale materials, advertising and promotions




4. Analyze and identify profitable growth sales opportunities in strategic markets through:

a. Participation in monthly marketing and sales staff meetings

b. Facilitating sessions with distributor brand managers and Company sales managers

c. Participation in the monthly business reviews

d. Communication with the Company Brand Managers along with Brand Managers from assigned distributors

e. Facilitation of \"best practice\" session




5. Recommend consumer insight needs for category and along with CCID Mexico coordinate the planning, execution and analysis of the marketing research.

a. Prepare marketing research requests

b. Review and analyze consumer data

c. Translate consumer insights into plans




6. Participate in the new products innovation process.

a. Provide the analysis for new ideas

b. Incorporate Get feedback from the markets

c. Prepare the new product development forms

d. Coordinate packaging graphic design process




7. Coordinate promotions and media plans with the advertising agency.

Required skills / experience* Required Skills/Experience:

* Bachelors Degree required, Master Degree preferred* 2-3 years brand experience, preferably in the CPG industry* Strong business acumen* Experience with product development and product launches* Excellent leadership skills* Outstanding analytical abilities* Innovative and creative mindset* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Must be bilingual in Spanish and English* Economic value creation mindset* Team player mindset
