The Controls Engineer develops and maintains the CCE Controls and Electrical Specifications and directs a variety of equipment suppliers and Plant Controls Specialists to conform to the specifications. This position provides leadership and training for the Plant Controls Specialists. Position requires the ability to manage and execute to the last detail the control of the entire line conveying system. Position installs and maintains Traceability / SKU Controllers, CCE Line Information System, and CIP data collection developed by the Control Engineering Group.
1.Develop and provide high-level technical training to the Plant Controls Specialists in order to transfer knowledge on design, operation and maintenance of installations.
2.Provide leadership for the plants in the area of \"CCE Electrical and Control Specifications\" implementation and NABU Controls Projects such as Traceability / SKU Controllers and Line Information System.
3.Ensure that Plant Managers and Project Managers have the adequate resources in the area of controls and electricity.
4.Work with Project Managers and various suppliers to ensure the proper interfaces between machines and conveying system.
5.Manage complex controls / electrical projects for CCE North America.
6.Prioritize among various projects and create flexible plans to meet changing opportunities.
7.Develop the CCE Controls and Electrical Specifications and direct a variety of equipment suppliers to conform to the specifications.
8.Compare, qualify, select and integrate technologies (hardware and software) from various controls / electrical suppliers.
9.Supervise electrical installation /integration of equipment and controls.
10.Identity methods and implement solutions for improving on the designs / programs begun by others.
11.Identify and prioritize controls / electrical opportunities to maximize operations performance within CCE.
12.Stay abreast of the emerging technologies, innovate, develop and document electrical and controls designs.
13.Upgrade and implement the Traceability / SKU Controllers, CCE Line Information System and CIP data collection developed by the Control Engineering Group.
14.Quickly identify root causes of problems, as mechanical, controls or joint problems and coordinate resources necessary to address them.
15.Develop techniques to achieve the subtle balance between mechanical and controls changes in order to reach new levels of lineperformance.
16.Manage and execute to the last detail the control of the entire line conveying system.
17.Design and supervise the installation of the industrial networks such as DeviceNet, ControlNet, EthernetIP,
ProfibusDP; configure and network PCs for the syrup room controls, Line Information System and CIP Data Collection.
REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 8 years of working experience in industrial environments and a Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering.

Minimum 12 years of work experience in industrial environments without college degree.

Proficiency in Allen Bradley PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and Networks (DeviceNet, ControlNet, Remote IO, Data Highway Plus, and Ethernet).

Experience with Intellution, RSView and Wonderware.

Willing to travel close to 75% of the time.
