Role:
This is a key role working for a leading high profile retailer using E-Commerce applications. This is a practical role requiring someone of excellent technical ability looking to make their mark in a diverse and expanding team.

Responsibilities;
a) Create iterative mockups, prototypes and production-ready XHTML/CSS.
b) Focus on user needs and optimum user experience.
c) Stay current with evolving standards and technologies, learning new skills as needed.
e) Integrate production-ready XHTML into TeamSite pages in a integrated development environment.

Knowledge/ Experience:
a) Experience creating site architecture diagrams, wireframes, process flows.
b) Experience designing for dynamic and template-driven sites.
c) Mastery of hand-coded XHTML and CSS, adhering to W3C standards. Table-free layouts; semantic markup; standards enthusiast.
d) Familiarity with XML/JavaScript.
e) Good TeamSite knowledge / Live site.
f) Ability to work quickly and manage multiple projects and timelines.
g) Creative, yet meticulously detail oriented. Sense of craftsmanship.
h) A good understanding/awareness of Usability, Accessibility, Cross Browser issues, the latest standard based approaches would be desirable.
i) An experienced user in industry standard vector & bitmap graphics packages.
j) A successful candidate must demonstrate examples of the following technologies HTML, XHTML, ASP, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, DHTML and CSS 2.
