Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation is a world leader in the design and manufacture of advanced helicopters for commercial, industrial and military uses. Sikorsky is establishing a joint venture in the United Arab Emirates and is seeking interest of business development professionals across UTC to fill a 3 to 18 month assignment until the permanent position is filled.

The responsibilities for the temporary assignment include:

 Identify near and long term business opportunities and facilitate the strategy to capture new business

 Coordinate with the Business Development Director to determine the requirements needed to pursue special projects and business ventures 

Assist with major proposal processes to include statement of work preparation, estimation, pricing efforts and interfacing with customers

 Liaise with marketing in developing sales targets and growth initiatives 

Collaborate with marketing in identifying opportunities based on product services, regional locations, and potential revenue 

Develop aftermarket business for the military aircraft repair and overhaul market to include new spares

 Develop solid business relationships with customers in identifying which unique aftermarket requirements will meet their needs

 Liaise with customers to resolve issues and identify new business impact to Aftermarket Operations, risk mitigation and overall program performanceBachelor's degree 7 or more years experience performing new business acquisition activities in the aerospace industry. Fluency in Arabic preferred.

This temporary assignment is located in the United Arab Emirates full time.
