Our client located in Myerstown, Pa is currently accepting resumes to fill the position of Packaging Operator. THIS POSITION WILL START OFF TRAINING ON 1ST SHIFT FOR 3 MONTHS AND WILL THEN GO TO EITHER 2ND OR 3RD SHIFT. YOU DO NOT GET TO CHOOSE WHICH SHIFT YOU ARE MOVED TO.

Starting pay rate is $11.60/hr. These positions are considered LONG TERM positions with no ending date however the client can opt to end the assignment at anytime.

A High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED. Good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work safely in a production environment. Must be able to demonstrate a mathematical aptitude. Skills required (addition/subtraction/multiplication/ division, metric system).

The following skills are required: PREVIOUS CONSUMER PACKAGING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, team player communication skills learning skills decision making skills adaptable/flexible/dependable self-managing skills problem identifying/solving skills planning/organizing skills knowledge sharing skills Experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) environment required. Previous packaging experience preferred. Computer skills: Must have basic or good computer skills. Must also successfully pass drug screen, physical, education verification and background check.
