3>Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related discipline. One (1) to three (3) years of practical project management experience. Experience with project development utilizing PMBOK industry standards with project budgets ranging from $1K to $250K is necessary. Ability to function in a team environment. Effective oral and written communication skills. Additional related experience may be substitute for the degree on a year for year basis.
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of a Sr. Project Manager or the Manager of Project Management, manages multiple small priority projects or phase(s) of a larger project. Responsibility for all aspects of the project over the entire life (initiate, plan, execute, control, close). Must be familiar with system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team. Ensures adherence to the Project Management Office's (PMO) project management methodology and System Development Life Cycle while delivering projects within scope, budget and timeframe. The projects have a low to medium level of risk and usually last in duration from 1 to 5 months.
