Regional Sales Manager - Northwestern U.S.

Sales Management: Work with the Director of Sales to develop business plans for the region. Develop and implement sales strategies for penetrating new accounts, sustaining existing business and driving new programs in existing accounts in the Northwest region of North America. Develop solid, long-term influential relationships with key decision makers in the assigned customer base, and develop in-depth knowledge of the customers’ end markets, products and application to exploit all potential business opportunities. Target key design-in opportunities and tailor Cirrus Logic value propositions to establish a sustainable advantage vs our competitors.

Account management: Create and maintain up-to-date customer profiles in our CRM solution; create/manage monthly customer forecast — tied to quarterly/annual sales revenue goals; prepare weekly sales reports and routine feedback on customer issues. Utilizing internal sales management tools, initiate and report design-in/win programs and identify new projects in coordination with business units.

Distributor team and sales representative management: Manage third party sales representatives and distribution channels in the region. Increase distribution sales growth via product training and key account focus; drive distributor new account registrations; conduct visits with key accounts to provide quarterly/semi-annual reviews.

Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years experience selling Integrated Circuits, with a proven record of successfully managing a territory and driving revenue growth.

Must be driven by excellence and possess a strong desire to win.

Preference for candidates with combination of technical marketing and field sales experience.
