Job Summary
The Sr Business Analyst, Innovation & Intelligence contributes to powering growth and retention through providing relevant and sound analytics for Advito and the broader BCD Travel organization. Working in a commercial shared services team approach with Advito, Global Sales, Global Client Management, Marketing, Supplier Relations and other functions, the focus areas for this role are providing corporate intelligence, contributing to the development and roll-out of effective tools for the commercial teams, and contributing to fee generating client engagements.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
* Provide effective corporate intelligence services
- Develop, maintain and improve methods, processes and systems for the global corporate intelligence community
- Maintain and enhance the market index and forecasting databases, queries and analysis tools. This includes quality control and matching data from various sources into a databases, conducting feasibility tests, generating reports and queries with attention to structure, documentation and re-usability of components
- Perform pre-analysis of available information and generate tools that allow subject matter experts to analyze enhanced information using effective visualization and self-service analysis features
- Conduct research and analyze external and internal information to provide credible information and industry benchmarks as input for intelligence publications, media requests and client briefings
- Develop data specifications, business requirements and build prototype systems for sophisticated corporate intelligence
* Contribute to the development and roll-out of effective and innovative tools and services for commercial teams and clients
- Contribute to the provision of program benchmarking services - both strategic (ie with qualified opportunity and ROI analysis) and tactical (using spend data and peer analysis) for specific client engagements, client reviews and strategic prospects
- As part of a team contribute to specific service and/or product innovations from inception via launch to hand-over to delivery team
* Contribute to fee generating client engagements
- Translate data into relevant information for subject matter experts to present findings to clients. This includes quality control and matching data from various sources into a consolidated database, conduct feasibility tests, generate reports and queries as basis for analysis and provide effective visualization of the findings.
- Assume and perform other tasks not specifically outlined herein, but which are logically and properly inherent to the position of a Sr Analyst within a sales and client service organization
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Transferable Skills (Competencies)

Qualifications
* University Degree in related field (e.g., Business Administration, Information Systems, Marketing, Economics) or equivalent experience
* Professional user of core Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Advanced database programming and queries (MS Access and SQL)
* 2-4 years of experience in marketing, research or intelligence in a B2B environment (ideally professional or financial services)

* The location is secondary but the employee must be able to work during European working hours at least 50% of the time
