Job Description:

Provide configuration management of COTS equipment in the Deployable Ground Station, Beale AFB CA. This is a 24X7 operational unit.Configuration Management serves as central point of contact for IT assets and manages the life cycle of all IT related assets for the unit. Receives reviews and evaluates from a technical perspective special asset requests; researches solutions and options with vendors and OEM site personnel and provides input to site management. Performs research and provides input into approriation requests and purchase requisitions submitted. Ensures assigned assets and leases are current and up to date by maintaining accurate electronic records. Responsible for the implementation of an Asset Management software compliance program. Generates refresh status reports and delivers updates to appropriate leadership. May be responsible for return of assets for appropriate disposal. Provides configuration management, planning, change control, status accounting, and configuration audits. Other duties as requested by site or customer leadership.

THIS OPENING IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.

Required Skills: 4- 6 years of experience in Inforamtion Technology with USAF configuration programs and requirements.

Must be familiar with USAF CAMS and supply systems.

Clearence: An ACTIVE TS/SCI is required.

Workweek: Overtime is possible, non-standard work week is possible.

Differentials: Shift differentials paid per Raytheon policy.

Training: Possible USAF directed training may be required.

Required Education (including Major): BS/BA in IT/IT Management or related degree. 8 years of expereince in Information Technology may be substituted for degree.
