The Training and Technology Specialist will oversee the creation of training and development materials, for all concepts and the corporate center, with an emphasis on graphics, video and technology innovation, such as e-learning tools.
They also will implement and maintain LMS and LCMS electronic tracking of manager training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Instrumental in determining best delivery method /tools for training (paper-based, classroom, video, e-learning, blended learning approaches, etc.)
* Oversees the administration of current and future learning and content management systems
* Oversees the technology related elements of our training sessions, such as: Cheesecake Factory Institute (CFI ), Professional Assessment and Development Center (PADC), Professional Development Center (PDC) and the General Managers\' Conference
* Creation of written training and development programs
* Facilitation of classroom training sessions
* Digital photography, video creation and editing
* Researches, negotiates and selects vendors and service providers (e.g. LMS, LCMS)
Qualifications
Instructional Design background, including:
* Adult learning theory and training methods
* Needs and job task analysis
* Experience using technology to design training materials, including:
* Digital photography and editing
* Storyboarding, video taping and editing
* Web-page design
* Experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Content Management System (LCMS)
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, including: Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word.
* Proficient with Adobe Suite, including: Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop
* Proficient with Flash and Dreamweaver (or equivalent web design programs/web-based authoring tools)
* Proficient in establishing training metrics and measurements (benchmarking, ROI)
* Proficient with HTML and XTML preferred
* Proficient with Adobe Premier preferred
* Proficient with Adobe Connect Pro, Captivate or other programs to convert traditional print and PowerPoint content to a web-based format preferred
* Proficient with SharePoint or other workflow software preferred
* Fluent in social networking (wikis, blogs, etc.) preferred
* Experience in creating and writing business proposals and vendor RFPs preferred
* College degree, or equivalent education and job experience.
